🎄 Post-Christmas sleep🎄

The holidays are magical but often disrupt little ones’ routines. With 4 young boys, you can only imagine the chaos in our household! Here’s how to gently guide your little one back to better sleep:

✨Ease Back Gradually
If bedtime has shifted later, start moving it back in 10-15 minute increments each night until you’re back to the usual schedule.

✨Reintroduce Familiar Cues
Bring back your pre-bedtime rituals like bath, story, or lullabies. These consistent steps signal that it’s time to wind down.

✨ Prioritise Daytime Sleep
For younger children, focus on restoring regular naps. Overtiredness can make bedtime battles harder!

✨Have Some Time at Home
After all the holiday excitement, try to spend a few quiet days at home. This gives your child time to reset and adjust to their usual environment.

✨Limit Screens and Sugar
Post-holiday treats and screen time can delay sleep. Swap evening sugar for calming snacks and turn off screens an hour before bed.

✨ Be Patient and Don’t Panic
It’s normal for routines to take a little time to settle. Stay consistent, and trust that your child will adjust. Small steps make a big difference!
