⏰ Clock change ⏰
In the spring, the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am. We are basically losing an hour of sleep 😴 The only positive to this is that if you have an early riser, instead of a 5.30am wake up they will wake at 6.30am instead! What a lie in! 😂
How can you deal with the clock change? There are 2 main ways:
⭐️ Option 1: Move your routine by 15 minutes in the days leading up to the clock change. For example if your baby wakes up at 7am, you would wake them at:
6.45am three days before
6.30am two days before
6.15am on the day before
6.00am on the day but due to the clock change it will actually be 7am!
You would also need to move feeding and nap times back by 15 minutes on the days leading up to the clock change.
⭐️ Option 2: Leave everything the same and just go with the flow! It may be a strange day but the next day everything will have sorted itself out and baby will be back to normal by the 31st.
Which option will you be going with? Personally, I will be going with option 2. With 4 little ones at home it’s just too chaotic to try and rearrange the days to fit in new nap times alongside nursery and school runs, swimming lessons and Scouts sessions 😂
