SIMPLY CANNOT THANK HER ENOUGH!

I don’t even know where to start! Our time with Nat has completely saved us especially myself. Before reaching out to Nat I suffered in silence wondering what I was doing wrong I couldn’t for the life of me get my own baby’s sleep right. I thought I was failing and being extremely sleep deprived doesn’t help. My baby initially from 2 weeks old slept through the night all the way until he hit 4 months and from that point onwards it went downhill. I blamed it on the so called “4 month sleep regression” at first until it felt like it was never ending the days were turning into weeks and then rolling into months. My baby was up at least every 1-2 hours every single night where I would feed him back to sleep everytime as I was struggling myself to stay awake. Throughout the day there was no chance he would nap in his cot he would have to be rocked and sung to sleep and then contact napped on me. Although the contact naps were nice at first and I was embracing the cuddles I soon began to feel very trapped and had 0 time to look after myself I was stuck in this constant cycle for 9 months. Nat actually reached out to me on Instagram after I answered one of her polls and we talked through what was going on and she completley reassured me that she could help. We then chose to wait to start as we were in the middle of purchasing a property and due to move home. Baby was originally sharing a room with us but we were moving into a bigger home so he could have his own bedroom and we wanted the support from then onwards to help with the transition. We signed up for the 2 week plan and before that even started Nat drafted up a sleep plan for us and we began to work on that firstly by cutting down to 1 nap. When the support started Nat was always on the other end of the phone, throughout naptime and bedtime. We also wanted to have a later bedtime around 8pm as that worked for us as a family and Nat helped us achieve that. She answered any questions I had whether they seemed silly to me & she made me feel completely at ease and reassured throughout the process. I’m so glad we chose to do the 2 weeks as my baby took a lot longer to adjust to changes. Day by day we saw little improvements. He was down to 1 nap and napping in his cot for 2 hours which was amazing considering he’d never nap in his cot. I did begin to see other people’s successes and how their babies were already sleeping through the night and got myself down about it as my baby was still waking. Then finally we reached day 9 and we officially achieved sleeping through the night. Nat worded it beautifully to me and it’s something I’ll never forget “like popcorn, pops at different times”. My baby just needed some extra time to adjust and that’s okay! Since ending our time with Nat it’s officially been 3 weeks. My baby now sleeps through the night, if he wakes he 99% of the time resettles himself and is awake anytime from 6am. He naps for 2 hours in his cot throughout the day. We have achieved everything we wanted and more with Nat and my biggest regret was not doing this sooner. I simply cannot thank her enough ❤️
