Although I wouldn’t change the journey for the world, it really does feel good to sleep again
I came across Nat through a friend and spent a couple of months just watching all her success stories on her Instagram. I also like that she shared the challenges. I had spent a month doing gentle sleep training with my 9m old on my old (a contact napper, held to sleep and transferred, something we had adapted to due to his bad reflux with a min of 10 wakes a night). I had great results and managed to reduce the wakes to 5 wakes and get him sleeping in his cot. But needed crib side comforting every time he woke and always had a long wake in the middle of the night. I was also stuck on how to wean BF at night. I had hit a wall and could not improve the situation further on my own & so when my baby was 10m I booked 2 weeks with Nat. I felt it was the right time for me and my baby and honestly it was the best decision I’ve made. We have achieved 0 wakes, baby sleeping 10/12hr overnight, 0 night feeds, no long wakes, self settles, 2 hour naps!!)
I cannot believe the change and that this is even my reality.
I have been chronically sleep deprived from the day he was born and although I wouldn’t change the journey for the world, it really does feel good to sleep again. There were moments in last 3 months where I was worried for my health.
Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. I have used to two other sleep consultants before who just sell you a course, which doesn’t always answer any potential issues you may face and if your baby doesn’t fit the mold you of course fail. Nat’s 1:1 support and guidance every step of the way is what has made this time so much easier and I believe why it’s been successful. My baby is thriving and rested, and my husband and I getting there too as soon as our body’s and minds allow us 😂 (it’s been so long without sleep it’s taking time to adjust).
What makes Nat different is that she is available to speak with all day, she check ins with you at every nap time and that presence and guidance is what makes all the difference. She is always thinking of ways to tweak the plans and try different things which makes her approach personable and client focused! She is positive, supportive and that fills you with confidence. The process can be daunting but with a professional like Nat, but she doesn’t just give directions but rather equips you with the skills to be able to manage different situations.
Things I LOVED about Nat’s approach:
– just a message away
– doesn’t force you to commit to one method and is open to switching it if it doesn’t work for you
– provides you with a written plan asap
– doesn’t discourage you from going about your day as normal! I.e. if you are out and about to have plans she teaches you how to manage your baby’s sleep around this. So you aren’t encouraged to just stay trapped indoors.
– she draws from her own experience and has lots of tips and tricks up her sleeve.. and they work!
What I don’t like like about working with Nat
• that it has to come to an end 😭
We could not recommend her more! Nat you are brilliant! Working tirelessly all week long (even weekends), through a cold, a flu and whilst taking care of your own 4 boys! ❤️
