A MIRACLE WORKER!
I’m not afraid to say that I was super skeptical but after winning a competition for 50% I felt like I should give it a go – it couldn’t make things worse! I didn’t see how such big changes could possibly happen within a week with the info I gave Nat – surely she needed to know my daughter’s entire life story 🤣!? The key (the secret!) is having Nat on hand to answer your questions, tell you what to try next, bounce ideas off of, and just to support you so you know you’re doing the right thing, even if it doesn’t seem to be working yet. My 14 month old daughter had been cosleeping with me since day dot, and now on my boob all night. I’d had enough of sharing my space but she’s just so attached to me – there’s no way she could sleep all night in her own cot is there!? Wrong! The very first night she self settled in less than 20 mins using a super gentle method, and only woke twice through the night, settling herself back down again. Asleep at 7:20 and awake at 6:30 the next day – insane!! I couldn’t believe it, and I was fully converted from that second morning when I woke in my own bed without a boob barnacle attached to me. Night 2 she went down happily without a sound and straight to sleep, slept through entirely and wasn’t woken till after 6 by her loud and excited older sister. Nat helped me to work out how best to do naps on the go/in the car, and I asked heaps of questions so that I could understand how to do this without her support once the week was up. It’s a juggling act handling a noisy 3 year old as well but I feel like I have the tools to adapt and think on my feet to get Josie the sleep she needs and clearly thrives from! Not every night is perfect but it’s been 1 week and my gorgeous girl goes down in her cot happily and quietly without any crying, finally giving me some long overdue time to myself in the evenings. She might occasionally have a wake up or two (especially when someone else wakes her up) but the difference is like night and day and I could not possibly recommend Nat more!! Please please please take the leap and trust in her methods – she really is a miracle worker 🩷🩷🩷
