One of the most beneficial things we have done as parents

Where do I even begin?! Working with Nat has been one of the most beneficial things we have done as parents and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Since birth, Louie was consistently waking up every 2 hours at night and it was taking him hours to fall asleep, often having false starts which resulted in either myself or my husband holding him, feeding him or rocking him to sleep. Most nights he ended up in our bed, and whilst this didn’t impact my husband‘s sleep, even when Louie was sleeping I couldn’t relax enough to sleep as I was so worried about SIDS (even though we made sure the co-sleeping was safe for him). Prior to working with Nat, Louie had slept for a period of 5 times only 3 times in his 6months and there was little day time routine with regard to naps. Trying to function on such little sleep (probably about 4hours or broken sleep a night for me) meant I was at breaking point and mentally I was done. Louie is our second child so trying to function and be present for both boys was impossible! I had zero energy, wanted to sit on the sofa all day as the thought of going out killed me, had little patience with my older son, and my husband and I had had no time together since Louie was born 6 months prior to working with Nat.
I had 4 aims – to have Louie sleeping for a longer chunk of time than 2 hours, to have more energy, to have our evenings back again and to ditch the dummy. All of these were met within the first couple of days of working with Nat! Louie is now pretty much consistently sleeping for chunks of around 4.5-5.5hours each night – something I never thought possible! Sleeping through the night was not an aim of mine and it is still not, as I am confident that one day Louie WILL do it due to all he has learnt and continues to learn.  My husband and I have also learnt a lot which has resulted in us being confident and staying calm during bedtime and overnight wakes. Nat is empathetic, listens without judgment and tweaks the individual plan to work around the needs of the family (which can be difficult when you have other children on different schedules!).  There is absolutely no need to sit at home all day every day to get better sleep either – each day Nat listened to anything we needed to work around nap wise and was able to offer suggestions and tweaks for that particular day.
Not only has working with Nat benefited Louie’s sleep but has also had a positive effect on my own mental health. Having energy to go out for walks, to be properly present with my older son and to spend quality time with my husband in the evenings has all been possible due to Nat. Nat has been with and supported us through Louie getting his first 2 teeth, sickness and also transitioning to 2 naps. We originally booked a 3 week package but extended it for an extra week to consolidate and tweak the nap transition – genuinely the best investment for us! I wish we had booked in with Nat as soon as I started following her on Instagram and I would encourage anyone who is considering buying a package to do it – you will not regret it!!
Nat – thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You guidance, encouragement and love is something that we will hold onto as we continue forward with Louie‘s sleep journey 🥰
