Having someone help you work out your child’s unique sleep needs is phenomenal
I first came across Nat as a recommendation in a mum group. I was intrigued and had a look at her instagram. Immediately I was blown away with the success stories of young babies who were exclusively breastfed – like mine. I felt there was hope!
When I signed up for support from Nat I was in the depth of a very intense 4 month sleep regression. My baby was waking up hourly, unable to link sleep cycles and I had ended up co-sleeping and being used like a dummy for hours at a time. I was emotionally and physically drained and very desperate.
Almost immediately I saw an improvement from the structure Nat provided us. I must say at points I was dubious about some suggestions. As a first time mum I’d felt overwhelmed with “average” sleep times for baby ages and the amount of daily sleep babies should get. I felt anxious that my baby wasn’t going to get enough daytime sleep – but Nat’s point about considering sleep in a 24h period made sense! And the proof was in the results. By day 4 my little one slept for 8 hours for an initial Stint in the evening. My partner and I were blown away!
Over the next few weeks not only did my baby’s sleep improve but so did my confidence. Another great point that Nat helped me understand is that sleep is not linear – a night where there were a few more wakings than previously was not failure! Rather such an improvement from 10+ wakes – so Nat really helped me change my psyche.
Our last day together was on the first day of a holiday and I’d been so nervous about it – however, through the amazing guidance Nat provided I was able to navigate the holiday and have continued to do so now we’re back at home.
I can’t recommend Nat’s 121 support enough. Not only is it so beneficial having affirmations that you’re doing the right thing when things go wrong or get tough, but having someone help you work out your child’s unique sleep needs is phenomenal. I now feel like I can flex my baby’s naps and bedtimes if needed, and have such a better understand of sleep science all thanks to Nat. My partner and I now enjoy dinners together and our baby is so happy and rested from her amazing night sleeps. Thank you so much Nat, you’ve really changed our experience of parenthood and we’re so grateful!
